about the designer
The ocean has always been near for designer Nicole Vaughn. She grew up on the Texas coast in Corpus Christi and eventually made her way west to coastal Southern California. Along life's journey, she amassed a trove of swimwear favorites. Always on the hunt for her next favorite, Nicole decided, this time, to develop her own, drawing on her background in visual arts (she is a graphic designer and trained interior designer) and letting the details she loved of her longtime favorites inform these new designs.
Founded in Redondo Beach, California, LUXSWIM is a new contemporary swimwear line embellished with unique hardware. In tones of sand and shell and in hues of starry nights and opalescent mother of pearl, LUXSWIM suits are fully lined with soft cups (most removable) and made in Los Angeles, California. Nicole's line of coverups compliments the lean LUXSWIM silhouette so that going poolside to café is always in style.
